Are you tired of searching through LinkedIn for connections? I was in the same situation until I came upon Dux-Soup. Learn how to use Dux-Soup as a lead generation tool to increase your relationships and sales in our Dux-Soup review. Also, for those who will buy Dux-Soup after reading this review, I’ll throw you some free LinkedIn automation tactics that you can use to expand your network and increase your sales.

To navigate through this guide with ease, use the table of contents below.

Despite its strange name, Dux Soup was one of the first LinkedIn lead creation products I used, and it was rather effective. When utilizing its tremendous outreach tools, Dux-Soup, like most things in life, is best used in moderation.

Dux-Soup is available for free download. Many of the helpful features are available for a fee and can be purchased on a monthly or annual basis.By automating processes like reading profiles, sending invites, and private messaging your group of current connections, this Chrome extension helps you put your lead generation game on autopilot.

Now, a word of warning. According to LinkedIn, this tool is deemed “cheating.” You may receive a warning email or have your account suspended if you abuse this tool and set the settings too high.

I’ve never had an issue with LinkedIn alerting me during my time using Dux-Soup. Just keep in mind that this tool is considered blackhat, and using it entails some risk.

It took some time to become used to Dux-Soup, and there is a learning curve, especially when utilizing the more advanced filtering options. If you decide to test it out, I’ll include some free tips and techniques later in this review.

With that stated, I still think it’s a great product, especially given the low monthly fee and freemium version to try out. To get the most out of Dux-Soup, I discovered that the Pro version, which costs $15.00 a month, would be sufficient for most small to medium-sized sales teams need. This is still less expensive than LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator, which starts at $29.99.

Dux-Soup is simple to download and install, and it only takes a few minutes. Because Dux-Soup is a Chrome plugin, you’ll need Google Chrome as well as a Google account to log in.

Unfortunately, after you have the plugin loaded, there isn’t much in the way of instructions. I don’t mind scrolling around to figure out how things operate, but others may find it tedious.

There’s a Tutorials option that brings you to the Dux-Soup YouTube channel, where you’ll find ten videos describing how to use the application.

While the videos can help you grasp the functionality, they do not assist you in developing an outreach strategy or provide ideas on how to manage your lead data.

I’d want to see more interactive tutorials included in the product, as well as extra resources for clients to use in order to obtain the most outcomes from the software.

This has prompted us to create our own free Dux-Soup training, which you can access when you download Dux-Soup via the link provided in this post.

Features of Dux-Soup

Dux-Soup has a lot of functionality and automation options compared to other LinkedIn automation solutions. The characteristics of Dux Soups are shown below, along with the monthly plan that corresponds to them.

I’ll go through some of the most useful features below, as well as how you can use them to jumpstart your LinkedIn outreach.

You’ll notice fairly quickly that to do any sort of worthwhile prospecting, you’ll really need to pay for the Pro version of Dux Soup.

The main reason you’ll use Dux-Soup is to find qualified leads and form meaningful connections. The key is to strike the right balance between automation and a personalized templated message. This will require some ingenuity, but it will be well worth it once everything is automated.

Dux Soup can be used to improve and automate the search for prospects who fulfill particular criteria at the most basic level.

Take notes on each LinkedIn profile you visit. You can take a variety of prospecting actions against your current set of search results from the LinkedIn search page. To begin, make use of the search tool to refine your results by location, position, or connection level. You can begin the outreach process after you have your list.

Visit Profiles — Selecting this option causes your list of profiles to be visited and their data to be recorded automatically. You will be able to see which profiles you have seen. This is a little sort of engagement that encourages people to look at your profile. Dux Soup’s free edition allows you to perform this activity.

visit and connect — Yes, you guessed it, visit and connect. This visits the user’s profile and initiates a connection request. Connection requests can be personalized with a message to make them feel more personal and enhance the likelihood that they will accept it.

You can also select to skip particular profiles that satisfy certain criteria in the preferences tab. Skip profiles with no photos, recent visits, tagged profiles, and even profiles that match a custom regex phrase.

Scan Profiles — This feature analyzes profiles without triggering a ‘recently viewed’ notification, even on the user profile. This is ideal for gathering information to export into your CRM system.

It’s time to follow up and segment your list after you’ve built a list and sent out connection requests. While the Dux Soup platform does not provide formal training for this procedure, it can all be handled through tagging. Tagging is a simple process that allows you to see where a prospect stands in terms of outreach, follow-up, and interest.

Is there a way to make this tagging process go faster? Yes, I believe so. It can be difficult to see all of your tags and where they are in your follow-up sequence plan. I believe that changing the way this is presented would make it easier for Dux-Soup users to make decisions and view their tags.

It’s now entirely up to you to decide what tags to generate and how to utilize them. Sure, this allows you or your sales force more flexibility, but some advice for freelancers or small businesses would have been beneficial. Automation

When it comes to sales outreach, highly tailored messages work best, and happily, if you classify your prospects correctly, you can deliver messages that aren’t copied pasted.

Dux Soup + customized outreach Equals LinkedIn marketing success

linkedin quality leads

We’ve all received those boring LinkedIn Direct Messages. They’re rather generic and usually only discuss the services they provide.

The ability to categorize people based on your previous interaction, their industry, and your shared relationships is Dux Soup’s secret power, allowing you to build a message that sticks out.

Here’s what Dux Soup can do for you:

  • Automatic InMail (inboxing)
  • Automatic follow up
  • Automatic invitations
  • Auto profiles visit
  • Auto endorsements
  • Auto message to 1st-degree connections

It’s not a bad lineup. Dux Soup also has the ability to interact with other APIs or automation systems, such as Zappier. You won’t have to rely on third-party plugins with the Pro edition because you’ll be able to use the Dux Soup API directly.

While customization is a luxury in most programs, it can help you stay under LinkedIn’s notice with Dux Soup.

You have a lot of limitations with the free version in terms of what you can and can’t modify. By default, the connection frequency and outreach settings are set to a safe level. If you change it too much, you risk getting burned.

You may deliberately dial-up or down some of these parameters based on what your goals are and what your other settings are set to by being able to change some of these settings.

Make changes to your profile visit settings as needed.

About a dozen automated actions can be entirely customized to fine-tune your sales approach. There’s even a section dedicated to skipping profiles that meet specific criteria. This is perfect for sending follow-up emails without having to re-send to individuals who have already responded.

The throttling tab allows you to fine-tune the speed and behavior of your profile viewing. When selecting a range of profiles to visit per hour, for example, you can throttle up or down. You can also limit the number of requests you make every day, as well as direct messages and profile visits, from this page. Any changes to the throttling tab will necessitate the use of Dux Soup Pro.

Support wasn’t always so strong a few years ago, but I’m happy to say that things are improving. If you’re a solopreneur or work entirely on your own, you’ll have queries that your staff won’t be able to answer. In the end, you’ll require assistance.

Now, support for Dux Soup has come a long way since I first tried it out a few years ago, which is a great sign that they’re still committed to their product.

If you’re having trouble with a particular feature, there is a quite comprehensive knowledge base where you may look for answers. If it doesn’t work, live chat is available during EU and US business hours, as well as email assistance. You can now also request free one-on-one remote support calls. The duration of these complimentary support call sessions is limited to 15 minutes.

Dux Soup’s support services have been expanded to include two more types of assistance.

Booster Sessions: These sessions start at $79.95 per hour and help you create Dux Soup workflow processes as well as locate and target your ideal clients on LinkedIn. Hint: If you sign up through me, you can obtain some of these tactics for free.

Technical Sessions: These start at $79.95 per hour and are designed for more complex connections and solutions. This is where you’d go for help integrating Dux Soup with other applications using an API or a service like Zapier.

However, a software community should also assist. Dux Soup isn’t the most popular tool out there, hence it doesn’t have a large user base.

In the Dux Soup Facebook community, you can find other people who are asking questions. I doubt you’ll get a faster response here, but it’s fascinating to see what other people are attempting to accomplish with the platform.

How long will Dux-Soup be in existence? It’s anyone’s guess, really. Dux-Soup, unlike other programs, explicitly violates LinkedIn’s terms of service, which might mean it’s gone tomorrow.

LinkedIn might file a lawsuit against Dux-Soup, or, more likely, issue an algorithm update that disrupts or disables Dux Soup’s features. As a result, the two corporations play a cat and mouse game in which one breaks a function and the other fixes it as quickly as possible.

While this hasn’t happened yet in a big way, it could. As a result, if you’re searching for a long-term, reliable LinkedIn tool, this isn’t it. However, no LinkedIn automation tool will be perfect. This is the risk we take when we use particular tools to get an advantage.

Here’s why I’m not bothered about this:

When you pay by the month, Dux-Soup is incredibly reasonable; you’re not locked in and may cancel at any moment. You can cancel at any time if something goes wrong, breaks, or you’re simply unhappy.

The monthly expense of Dux Soup’s Pro plan is greatly justified by the amount of value you get. Even the free edition can help you arrange your LinkedIn accounts and internal notes significantly.

You won’t get burned on significant upfront investments because you can cancel at any time. Dux Soup offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Simply terminate your service within 30 days and send an email to their customer care department.

LinkedIn lead generation is now available as a SaaS product, keeping businesses like Dux Soup on their toes. This means they’re always inventing, updating, and patching in order to keep their clients happy month after month. This results in a win for you.

You have the option of paying monthly or annually, with the annual plan saving you between $4.00 and $14.00 per month depending on whether you choose Pro or Turbo. In any case, Dux-Soup outperforms LinkedIn Sales Navigator, which starts at $29.99 a month.

So you want to try Dux Soup but aren’t sure which plan is best for you? Don’t worry, we’ll go over the differences fast.

If you’re a small business, a solopreneur, or a freelancer, Dux Soup Pro will cover almost all you need to get started. The Pro plan includes the majority of the automated and customization capabilities that make Dux Soup tick. You can always upgrade if you find yourself in need of services like automatic drip marketing and CRM connection.

Dux Soup Turbo: If you already have a LinkedIn sales process in place and a small team dedicated to outreach, the Turbo version is probably for you.

This subscription includes more automation tools, CRM integration, and enhanced lead generation funnel metrics. Turbo’s features are specifically designed to benefit a larger sales team.

Dux Soup is, in fact, lawful. For utilizing the product, you will not be penalized or arrested. Dux Soup, on the other hand, explicitly violates LinkedIn’s Terms of Service, which means that if you abuse automation on their network, your account may be warned, punished, or suspended.

Here’s a little secret.

While LinkedIn explicitly prohibits automation, they recognize that a significant portion of their user base does so.

Most automation, in my perspective, is ignored by LinkedIn as long as it isn’t overdone or obnoxious. I suppose LinkedIn could create a program to identify the presence of automation plugins if they wanted to, but they don’t.

Dux Soup is a Chrome plugin that you can install directly into your browser. It begins scanning and recognizing LinkedIn profiles as soon as it is installed, and it gives you a variety of automated capabilities.

Dux Soup avoids detection by imitating human behavior, making it harder for LinkedIn to detect the usage of automated tools.

You can’t go wrong with Dux-Soup if you’re searching for a solution to construct an automated LinkedIn strategy around. It’s absolutely worth learning to use, even if it’s a little difficult to master.

BONUS: If you’ve read this far and want to try out the pro version, I have a special offer for you.

If you sign up for Dux Soup using the link below, I’ll provide you my personal method for tagging, organizing, and following up with prospects in Dux-Soup. I’ll even provide four of my most effective outreach tactics. Please leave a remark below if you have any questions. Now, go ahead and press that big blue button!
